Sue Wallace- Program Director
If you can't find Sue, she's most likely off exploring new mountain bike trails or drinking as much coffee as possible. Originally from La Jolla, California, she just couldn't resist the Rocky Mountains and has lived in Crested Butte for over 10 years. Sue has a deep love and connection with the Gunnison Valley, and she is doing her part in protecting it through Mountain Manners event coordination, grant writing, and project management.
Gillian Rossi- Campaign Coordinator
Gillian is a self-proclaimed Leave No Trace fanatic and is happiest when exploring new trails and recreation areas around the state. She is a new Master in Environmental Management from Western State Colorado University and recently moved to the Valley from Little Rock, Arkansas. Gillian is working on creating ties with Mountain Manners and other outdoor stewardship organizations such as the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics and Summit Stewards. She is also manages our field volunteer program, Peak Protectors.
Shay Hlavaty- Marketing Director
Shay loves to ride her road bike, hike around with her furry best friend, Rosie, and read alongside rivers. She migrated from Texas to Colorado specifically for the MEM program at Western. Her studies focus on the communication aspect of environmentalism. With Mountain Manners Shay's focusing on marketing and collaborative opportunities throughout the Gunnison Valley.
